Miranda Rogers (Houston, TX) of the women’s basketball team ia honored for Feb. 6-12.
Rogers was near-perfect from the field in leading the CUC women to a 73-70 win over Wisconsin Lutheran College in a key conference victory Feb. 11. She hit 6-7 overall, 5-6 on three-point shooting for a game total of 17 points. Rogers also hit on three of five from long range in the Feb. 7 game against Benedictine for a total of 9-11 for the week. Rogers is now within the school’s career record for threes made, needing three to tie and four to break Melissa Schwab’s record of 167.
Rogers, the daughter of Rusty and Anita Rogers, is a 2013 graduate of Houston Christian High School in Houston, TX. She is a senior graphic design major.
