Caitlin Richards (Chicago) of the softball team is honored for the week of March 14-20.

 

Richards batted .667 (4-6) in the March 15 doubleheader versus Wheaton College. The Cougars’ rightfielder went 2-3 with a double in each game, and her second-game double drove in a two-out run. Richards is batting .294 on the season (nine games) with a .412 slugging percentage.

Richards, the daughter of Mark Richards and Debbie Basa, is a 2009 graduate of Mother McAuley High School. She is a sophomore exercise science major.
