Cam Stephens (Rosemont, Ill.) of the baseball team is honored for the week of March 7-13.

Stephens led the baseball hitters on their nine-game swing through Arizona with a .500 batting average. Eight of his 11 hits went for extra bases (seven doubles, one triple) for a robust slugging percentage of .909. Stephens also had five walks for the week and an on-base percentage of .607.

Stephens, the son of Scott and Karen Stephens, is a 2008 graduate of East Leyden High School in Franklin Park, Ill. He is a junior secondary education/physical education major.
