Natalie Weinhold (St. Peters, MO) of the women’s soccer team is honored for the first week of the new school year, Aug. 25-31.
Weinhold’s six points helped the Cougar women to a 2-0 start for the season. The forward/midfielder assisted on a pair of goals including the game-winner in the 3-2 win over Crown College Aug. 29. She then scored a pair of first-half goals the following day to lead CUC to a 2-0 victory over Blackburn College. Weinhold played 107 minutes over the two matches and led the team in shots with nine, five on goal.
Weinhold, the daughter of Dennis and Julie Lueck, is a 2013 graduate of Lutheran High School in St. Peters, MO.. She is a sophomore early childhood education major.
