Concordia University Chicago Athletics

Justin Hineman (Hartland, Wis.) of the men’s basketball team is honored for the week of Jan. 31-Feb. 6.

           

Hineman averaged 13.0 points and 7.5 rebounds in the Concordia men’s wins last week over Wisconsin Lutheran and Maranatha Baptist. The 6’4” forward shot 6-9 (.667) from the field and a formidable 14-16 (.857) from the free throw line while also being cited by head coach Tyler Jones for his strong defensive play. Hineman, whose season scoring average is 7.2, has averaged 11.2 over his last five games.

           

Hineman, the son of Gary and Diane Hineman, is a 2008 graduate of Arrowhead High School. He is a junior secondary education/English major.
