Alisha Johnson (Coal City, IL) of the women’s track and field team is honored for May 8-14.

Johnson set a new school record in the javelin at the Dr. Keeler Invitational at North Central College on May 11-12. Her throw of 115’ 5” bettered both her previous standard of 107’ 8” from 2016 and the school’s previous record of 112’ 11” set by Julie (Johnson) Pate in 2002.

Johnson, the daughter of Brian and Beverly Johnson, is a 2013 graduate of Coal City High School in Coal City, IL. She is newly graduated from CUC with a B.S. in biology.
