Concordia University Chicago Athletics

Jeff Weberg (Rockford, Ill.) of the men’s basketball team is honored for the week of Jan. 17-23.

 

Weberg averaged 15.7 points in the Cougars’ three games last week, helping Concordia to a pair of wins. He matched his season-high of 23 points in the Jan. 18 win at Aurora University. The 6’1” guard scored 12 points in both the Jan. 20 game at Rockford and the Jan. 22 win at Marian University. Weberg also contributed to the defense with eight steals for the week.

 

Weberg, the son of Lon and Jill Weberg, is a 2006 graduate of Rockford Lutheran High School. He is a senior accounting major.
