Chelsee Wilson (Shawneetown, IL) of the women’s indoor track and field team is honored for Jan. 30-Feb. 5.

Wilson scored the top two finishes for the CUC women at the University of Chicago’s Windy City Rumble on Feb. 4. She won the 200-meter dash from a field of 41 runners with a time of 26.01 seconds and finished second in the 400-meter run with a time of 59.96. In each race, she came within about a quarter-second of breaking her own school record, and she remained the fastest of all conference runners in the 400, being the only runner to this point of the indoor season to have two times of under a minute in the event.
Wilson, the daughter of Iles and Kristen Fort, is a 2014 graduate of Grayslake North High School on Grayslake, IL. She is a junior with a double major of communications and graphic design.
