Taylor Jacobsen (Aurora IL) of the women’s basketball team is honored for Jan. 1-7.
Jacobsen scored a team-leading 25 points in both the Cougars’ games against Rockford University on Jan. 4 and Marian University on Jan. 7. She made eight threes between the two games, including three during a stretch in which the Cougars made eight of nine in a comeback win over Marian. Jacobsen, CUC’s leading scorer at 15.9 per game, now has six games this season in which she has scored 20 or more points.
???????Jacobsen, the daughter of Terry and Jennifer Jacobsen, is a 2014 graduate of West Aurora High School in Aurora, IL. She is a junior exercise science major.
