Courtney Lofink (Orange, CA) of the women’s basketball team is honored for Dec. 12-20.
Lofink established the new career record in assists for CUC women’s basketball in a 69-59 win over Aurora University on Dec. 15. Lofink’s sixth assist out of nine on the night gave her 287 for her career, surpassing Ellie Bravo’s mark, set during the 2004-08 seasons. The Cougars’ point guard added seven helpers in a 67-45 win over Dominican University on Dec. 17 to finish the week with 297. Lofink also added 23 points, 10 rebounds and 12 steals over the two games.
???????Lofink, the daughter of Mark and Karen Lofink, is a 2014 graduate of Orange Lutheran High School in Orange, CA. She is a junior elementary education major.
