Louis Fernando (Northridge, CA) of the men’s basketball team is honored for the week of Nov. 28-Dec. 4.

Fernando came off the bench to score a career-high 22 points and add four assists and four steals in the Cougars’ home game versus Aurora University on Wednesday, Nov. 30. The guard shot 7-12 overall including 4-6 from long range and 4-4 at the free-throw line as the Cougars scored a season-high 95 points.

Fernando, the son of Angelo and Kathy Fernando, is a 2013 graduate of Granada Hills Charter High School in Los Angeles, CA. He is a sophomore art major.
