Rashad Lofton (Detroit, MI) of the football team is honored for the week of Nov. 7-13.

Lofton had touchdown receptions of 75 and 68 yards in the Cougars’ game against Wisconsin Lutheran College on Nov. 12. His two scores put him at 16 touchdown receptions for the year, enabling him to lead the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference in that category and also establish a new CUC single-season record previously held by Jamal Thomas with 15 in the 2011 season.

Lofton, the son of Fred and Kesha Lofton, is a 2013 graduate of Romulus High School in Detroit, MI. He is a senior business management major.
