Elizabeth Sanders (St. Louis, MO) of the women’s soccer team is honored for the week of Oct. 17-23.
Sanders delivered in arguably the CUC women’s soccer team’s biggest game of the season, a 4-0 road win over Concordia University Wisconsin on Oct. 22. Sanders scored the first goal of the game in the 37th minute and later made it a 3-0 game with a strike in the final minute of the half. In the 55th minute, she assisted on Alisha Johnson’s goal as the Cougars wrapped up a NACC tournament berth and also defeated CUW for the first time in the program’s history.
Sanders, the daughter of Todd and Kelli Sanders, is a 2013 graduate of Parkway South High School in Manchester, MO. She is a senior political science major.
