Stefanie D’Anna (LaGrange Park, IL) of the softball team is honored for the week of April 11-17.
D’Anna, the leadoff hitter in the softball team’s lineup, hit a robust .667 last week on 20 hits in 30 at-bats in an eight-game span. She scored 11 runs (out of the team’s 36) and drove in seven with an on-base percentage of .697 and a slugging percentage of .800. The second baseman also made some big plays in the field and contributed a fielding percentage of .964 (28 chances).
D’Anna, the daughter of Anthony D’Anna and Cristina Marconi, is a 2014 graduate of Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, IL. She is a sophomore exercise science major.
