Brent Spohr (Ingleside, IL) of the baseball team is honored for the period of Feb. 29-March 6.

Spohr hammered out four hits in the Cougars’ 11-10 win over Coe College in the first game of the annual Florida trip. His biggest hit came with the Cougars trailing 10-9 in the 10^th inning. With two outs and two strikes, Spohr singled to left to tie the game and give CUC the opportunity to win the game in the following inning.

Spohr, the son of Jim and Jacque Spohr, is a 2014 graduate of Grant Community High School in Fox Lake, IL. He is a sophomore exercise science major.
