Joe Duszynski (DesPlaines, IL) of the men’s track and field team is honored for the period of Feb. 15-21.
Duszynski set a lifetime best mark in the 35-lb. weight throw with a 40’ 10 ¼” and added a season’s best of 36’ 11 ½” in the shot put at the University of Chicago’s Margaret Bradley Invitational on Feb. 20. “Joe has been working very hard, and it is great to see things coming together for him at this point of the season,” said CUC head coach Phil Kopinski.
Duszynski, the son of John and Ruth Duszynski, is a 2012 graduate of Maine West High School in DesPlaines, IL. He is a senior physical education major.
