Chelsee Wilson (Round Lake Beach, IL) of the women’s track and field team is honored for the period of Feb. 1-7.
Wilson enjoyed an outstanding day at the University of Chicago’s Windy City Invitational on Feb. 6. She ran the preliminaries of the 60-meter dash in 8.04 seconds, breaking her own record of 8.10. A short while later, Wilson ran the finals and finished fifth (behind Division I athletes) with a new record of 7.94 seconds.
Wilson, the daughter of Isles and Kristen Fort, is a 2014 graduate of Grayslake North High School in Grayslake, IL. She is a sophomore with a double major in communications and graphic design.
