Angelo Turco (Aurora, IL) of the football team is honored for the week of Nov. 9-15.
Turco graded out as the Cougars’ top lineman in CUC’s game at Rockford University on Nov. 14. The veteran tackle and co-captain completed his rehab from off-season surgery midway through the season and, according to head coach Randy Awrey, “played his best ball down the stretch. His leadership and example have left such a great legacy for this program.”
Turco, the son of Terry Turco and Yvette Bordanaro, is a 2012 graduate of Metea Valley High School in Aurora, IL. He is a senior marketing major.
