Miriama Kisiel (Schiller Park, IL) of the women’s cross-country team is honored for the week of Nov. 9-15.
Kisiel ran her season-best time (by 44 seconds) of 25:32.1 to lead the CUC cross-country women at the Midwest Regionals at Augustana College on Nov. 14. “Miriama missed part of this season due to injury, and for her to turn in her season best and come within 13 seconds of her all-time best (from 2014) really speaks highly of her effort,” said cross-country coach Dave Risch.
Kisiel, the daughter of Peter and Eva Petranova, is a 2006 graduate of Westmont High School in Westmont, IL. She is a junior elementary education major.
