Leroy Bridges (Chicago, IL) of the football team is honored for the week of Nov. 2-8.
Bridges caught five passes for 95 yards including one for a 65-yard touchdown in CUC’s game against Wisconsin Lutheran College on Nov. 7. The speedy Bridges now has 19 receptions for 295 yards (15.1 yards per catch) in his first season at CUC. “Leroy has worked hard to earn a starter’s role, and he will continue to play a major role in our offense as we go ahead,” said CUC head coach Randy Awrey.
Bridges, the son of Leroy and Denise Bridges, is a 2012 graduate of Perspectives-IIT Math & Science Academy in Chicago, IL. He is a junior psychology major.
