Hannah Johnson (Chesapeake, VA) of the volleyball team is honored for the week of Oct. 26 - Nov. 1.
Defensive specialist Johnson was named to the all-tournament team at Augustana College’s Pumpkin Bash on Oct. 30-31. Johnson had missed 3 ½ weeks before returning to action at the beginning of the week, and her consistency in digging and passing the ball were standouts as the Cougars battled four challenging teams in the tournament. “Hannah was a great example for our younger players, and we look forward to having her as one of our floor leaders next season,” said CUC head coach Troy Campbell.
Johnson, the daughter of Skip and Karla Johnson, is a 2014 graduate of Hickory High School in Chesapeake, VA. She is a sophomore in the Lutheran secondary education program with a specialization in math.
