Austin Thompson (Morris, IL) of the volleyball team is honored for the week of Sept. 7-13.
            
Thompson blitzed opponents for 72 kills in four matches at the Quaker Classic in Earlham, IN on Sept. 12-13. She recorded a career-high 26 kills against the University of Pikeville on Sept. 13 and also added 20 in the match against Earlham on Sept. 12. Thompson was excellent in other areas as well, as she added a career-high 22 digs and a season-high five aces in the match against Earlham.
           
Thompson, the daughter of Tim and Tracy Thompson, is a 2014 graduate of Morris Community High School in Morris, IL. She is a sophomore pre-occupational therapy major.
