Michele Alexander (Tinley Park, IL) of the softball team is honored for the week of April 6-12.

Alexander hit .519 (14-27) over eight games last week with eight runs scored and five batted in. One of her hits was her first collegiate homer, a two-run shot against Dominican University on April 8 which accounted for the game-winning runs in a 6-4 victory.

Alexander, the daughter of Mike and Teri Alexander, is a 2013 graduate of Andrew High School in Tinley Park, IL. She is a sophomore exercise science major.
