Brendan Klein (St. Charles, MO) of the baseball team is honored for the week of March 16-22.
Klein made the first three starts of his collegiate baseball career and recordsed a trio of three-hit games and a batting average of .563. He played second base, leftfield and designated hitter, batting leadoff in each game and going a perfect 3-3 in stolen bases. Klein drove in three runs including a clutch bases-loaded single to tie the March 22 game against Washington University in St. Louis.Â
Klein, the son of Karl and Teri Klein, is a 2013 graduate of Lutheran St. Charles High School in St. Peters, MO. He is a sophomore secondary education major with a specialization in math.
