Morgan Jahnke (Fox Lake, IL) of the women’s basketball team is honored for the period of Jan. 26-Feb. 1.

Jahnke excelled in many statistical areas for the Cougar women in three games last week. She averaged 19.0 points per game, including a 22-point effort against NAIA third-ranked Concordia University Nebraska on Jan. 30. Jahnke also totaled 18 rebounds, 10 steals and, most impressively, nine assists against just four turnovers. In addition, Jahnke was named to the women's all-tournament team at the 64th annual Concordia Invitational Tournament.
Jahnke, the daughter of Matt and Reem Jahnke, is a 2012 graduate of Grant Community High School in Fox Lake, IL. She is a junior secondary education major with a specialization in physical education.
