Morgan Jahnke (Fox Lake, IL) of the women’s basketball team is honored for the week of Dec. 15-21.
Jahnke averaged 15 points, six rebounds and three assists over the Cougar women’s three games last week. The 5’7” guard put up season-high marks of 21 points and nine rebounds in the Dec. 18 win at Lakeland College and six steals in the Dec. 20 win against Rockford University. Jahnke, who shot 59 percent from the field for the week, is currently second in team scoring with an 11.2 average.
Jahnke, the daughter of Matt and Reem Jahnke, is a 2012 graduate of Grant Community High School in Fox Lake, IL. She is a junior secondary education major with a specialization in physical education.
