Jorge Guzman (Cicero, IL) of the men’s soccer team is honored for the week of Oct. 20-26.
Guzman made a combined 30 saves in the Cougars’ matches last week against Dominican University and Concordia University Wisconsin. He made a career-high 17 saves against perennial NACC power Dominican in an Oct. 22 double-overtime match. Against Concordia Wisconsin on Oct. 25, he made 13 saves to keep the Cougars in the hunt. For the season, Guzman has made 126 saves in over 1,600 minutes of action.
Guzman, the son of Miguel and Maia Guzman, is a 2011 graduate of Morton East High School in Cicero, IL. He is a senior exercise science major.
