Mike Bailey (Spring Hill, FL) of the football team is honored for the week of Oct. 6-12.

Bailey made two interceptions in the Cougars’ Oct. 11 Homecoming game against Lakeland College. The first pick was returned 62 yards to put the team in prime scoring position early in the second quarter. Bailey’s second pick came in the end zone and halted a third quarter scoring threat by Lakeland. The Cougars’ safety was also credited with three pass break-ups and was in on 10 tackles, five solo.

Bailey, the son of Michael and Diane Bailey, is a 2011 graduate of Central High School in Brooksville, FL. He is a senior exercise science major.
