Elizabeth Steinhoff (Grayslake, IL) of the women’s tennis team is honored for the week of Sept. 29-Oct. 5.

Steinhoff led the Cougars to an 8-1 win over Lakeland College on Sept. 29. She defeated Shyenne Gennette 6-4, 6-2 in second singles and tamed with Emma Renteria for an 8-5 win at third doubles over Emily DesJardins and Aimee Thrune. Steinhoff finished the conference portion of the schedule winning two of her last three matches in both singles and doubles.

Steinhoff, the daughter of Rudy and Lauri Steinhoff, is a 2012 graduate of Grayslake North High School in Grayslake, IL. She is a junior marketing major.
