Christian Rodriguez (Berwyn, IL) of the men’s cross-country team is honored for the week of Sept. 22-28.
Rodriguez ran a season-best 30:22.31 in the 8k race at the College of DuPage Invitational on Sept. 26. He beat his previous best from two weeks ago by 34 seconds and finished second among the Cougar men in the race. “Christian has been with our program for four years, and it has been great to see him progress through his career to the point where he is now among our top scorers,” said CUC head coach Dave Risch.
Rodriguez, the son of Noe and Veronica Rodriguez, is a 2011 graduate of Morton West High School in Berwyn, IL. He is a senior criminal justice major.
