Kaylyn Anderson (East Chicago, IN) of the volleyball team is honored for the week of Sept. 22-28.

Anderson put up some top hitting performances in five matches against some of the top teams in the region. She recorded 16 kills in a Sept. 23 match at North Central College. Anderson also had a 10-kill outing on Sept. 27 against the University of Chicago in that school’s Gargoyle Classic. She recorded 33 kills over the weekend and was named to the all-tournament team.

Anderson, the daughter of Edwin and Kimberly Anderson, is a 2014 graduate of Whiting High School in Whiting, IN. She is a freshman elementary education major.
