DeAndre McLaurin (Joliet, IL) of the men’s soccer team is honored for the week of Sept. 15-22.
McLaurin was responsible for all of the Cougar men’s goals in the two matches last week. His eighth-minute marker helped the Cougars earn a 1-1 draw against host Maranatha Baptist University on Sept. 18. He then scored both of CUC’s goals, one in each half, in the Sept. 20 contest against Edgewood College. McLaurin leads the team on the season with four goals through six matches.
McLaurin, the son of Carlotta McLaurin, is a 2011 graduate of Joliet West High School in Joliet, IL. He is a senior psychology major.
