Aaron Garza (East Chicago, IN) of the men’s soccer team is honored for the first week of the new school year, Aug. 25-31.
           
Garza knocked in a rebound for the Cougar men’s winning goal in the 97^th minute of the season opener against Blackburn College Aug. 31. The midfielder played 83 minutes in his first collegiate match and led the Cougars with five shots.  
           
Garza, the son of Armando and Leslie Garza, is a 2014 graduate of Bishop Noll Institute in Hammond, IN. He is a freshman accounting major.
