Meghan Johnson (Glendale Heights, IL) of the softball team is honored for the week of March 24-30.

Johnson pitched 14 1/3 innings over three of the Cougars’ four games over the weekend. She exhibited great control with 20 strikeouts against two walks, including a stretch of 10 strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings against Lakeland College on March 29 (game one). Johnson also earned the CUC victory in game two of the Lakeland doubleheader with 6 1/3 innings of work in the team’s 5-3 win.

Johnson, the daughter of Bryan and Mary Johnson, is a 2012 graduate of Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn, IL. She is a sophomore pre-nursing major.
