Marcus Elston (Chicago, IL) of the men’s basketball team is honored for the period of Jan. 27-Feb. 2.

Elston turned in his 12^th double-double of the season in a Jan. 29 game against Benedictine University. He scored 18 points (8-10 FG, 2-3 FT) and pulled down 11 rebounds while also blocking four shots. Elston leadsd the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference with 11.0 rebounds per game and is fourth in field goal percentage with 54.2 percent accuracy.

Elston, the son of Marion Sims, is a 2009 graduate of Benito Juarez High School in Chicago, IL. He is a senior business management major.
