Morgan Jahnke (Fox Lake, IL) of the women’s basketball team is honored for the week of Nov. 25-Dec. 1.
Jahnke recorded a combined 25 points and six assists in just her second and third games as the Cougar women’s starting point guard. A transfer from conference rival Benedictine University, Jahnke tallied a career-high 18 points at Loras College Nov. 26 on 3-6 shooting from three-point range and 9-10 at the free throw line. Through three games, Jahnke is second on the team in scoring with a 12.5 average.
Jahnke, the daughter of Matthew and Reem Jahnke, is a 2012 graduate of Grant Community High School in Fox Lake, Illinois. She is a sophomore secondary education/math major.
