Kayla Konow (Fort Wayne, IN) of the women’s cross-country team is honored for the week of Sept. 9-15.

Konow ran a strong 6k race at the Concordia Wisconsin Invitational on Sept. 14. Her time of 23:58, a personal record for the CUW course, was good for 12^th place overall in a field of 180 runners, helping the Cougar women to a ninth place finish out of 19 teams.

Konow, the daughter of Matt and Amy Konow, is a 2011 graduate of Concordia Lutheran High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is a junior elementary education major.
