Merrell Davis (Milwaukee, WI) of the men’s indoor track team is honored for the week of Feb. 11-17.
           
Davis scored in two events at the North Central College Cardinal Classic on Feb. 15. He placed fourth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.06 seconds, just missing his record of 7.04 set last February. Davis also placed seventh in the long jump with a leap of 21’ 11”. He is currently ranked third in the long jump and fourth in the 55/60-meter dashes among all Northern Athletics Conference men’s athletes.
           
Davis, the son of Anne Novotny, is a 2008 graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School in Milwaukee, Wis. He is a senior business communications major.
