Krystyna Rickett (Sandusky, MI) of the women’s basketball team is honored for the week of Feb. 4-10.
Rickett led the Cougar women to a pair of important victories last week over Dominican University and the Milwaukee School of Engineering. She came within one rebound of a triple-double (16 points, 10 assists, nine rebounds) in the Feb. 5 win at Dominican. Rickett, who converted to point guard earlier this season, posted 14 assists against a mere two turnovers last week. Currently, she stands fifth in the NAC with 3.6 assists per game and has an assist/turnover ratio of +0.9.
Rickett, the daughter of Barbara Bradley, is a 2008 graduate of Sandusky High School in Sandusky, Mich. She is a senior elementary education major.
