Danyale Worsham (Downers Grove, IL) of the women’s track team is honored for the week of March 26-April 1.
Worsham scored 10.75 of the Cougar women’s 40 points at the Haydon Invitational, leading Concordia to a seventh-place finish. Her first-ever effort in the 100-meter hurdles resulted in a time of 18.02 seconds and a fourth place finish. Worsham also ran the 200 in 26.95 seconds, the Cougar women’s first mark under 27 seconds in 10 years. Finally, she contributed to the women’s 4 x 100-meter relay which finished third with a time of 52.41 seconds.
Worsham, the daughter of Francitia Chilton, is a 2010 graduate of Lisle High School. She is a sophomore psychology major.
