Rachel Cooper (Roscoe, Ill.) of the volleyball team is honored for the week of Sept. 13-19.

Cooper hit .514 in three matches as the Cougar volleyball team went 3-0. The middle blocker totaled 20 kills in 35 attempts with just two errors, highlighted by an outstanding performance Sept. 18 against Moody Bible Institute. Cooper recorded 11 kills in 16 attempts (one error) for a .625 attack percentage in leading Concordia to the five-set victory. For the season, Cooper has 46 kills with a team-leading attack percentage of .350.

            
Cooper, the daughter of Richard and Jean Cooper, is a 2008 graduate of Hononegah High School in Rockton, Ill. She is a junior elementary education major.
