Charles Gordon (Chicago, IL) of the men’s basketball team is honored for the week of Jan. 2-8.

Gordon scored 20 points in Concordia’s Jan. 5 win over Wisconsin Lutheran College. Eight of his points came consecutively in the first half, giving the Cougars a 15-11 lead they did not relinquish. Gordon shot 8-11 from the field, and the 6’3” forward leads the team with a .556 field goal shooting percentage through his 10 games played. He also contributed a season-high nine rebounds to the team’s winning effort.

Gordon, the son of Lucrisha McAllister, is a 2006 graduate of Lane Tech High School in Chicago. He is a senior business management major.
