Charles Gordon (Chicago, IL) of the men’s basketball team is honored for the week of Nov. 28-Dec. 4.
           
Gordon averaged 20 points for Concordia’s two men’s games last week. He poured in a career-high 24 points in helping the Cougars to their first win of the season, 69-49 over Dominican University Nov. 29. For the week, Gordon shot 15-25 (60 percent) from the field and 10-11 (91 percent) from the free throw line.
           
Gordon, the son of Lucrisha McAllister, is a 2006 graduate of Lane Tech High School in Chicago. He is a senior business management major.
