Piotr Dabrowski joined the Cougars men's volleyball coaching staff in Spring 2022. He brings a wealth of playing experience into this role.
Since joining the staff, the Cougars have made their first NACC Conference Tournament appearance. They have also defeated Benedictine University and Dominican University for the first time in program history in the 2023 season.
Dabrowski currently plays for the Chicago Iceman of the Volleyball League of America, a semi-professional men's volleyball league.
Prior to playing professionally, Dabrowski was a four-year starter for George Mason University. During his time with the team, he registered 354 kills and an impressive .324 hitting percentage. He also tallied 383 blocks in 307 sets. He currently holds the NCAA record for the most blocks in a single season with 178.
Before he played at George Mason, Dabrowski was a starting middle at Glenbard East High School. He also played club for Sports Performance.
Dabrowski graduated from George Mason in 2013. He is originally from Lombard, Ill. He also owns his own business, Chi-City Clean.
