CHICAGO, ILL. – The Concordia University Chicago men's tennis team took the court on the Southside to face off against fellow Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) opponent Illinois Institute of Technology, falling 7-0.
DOUBLES
- The duo of Kyle Pelzek (Hales Corner, Wis.) and Kevin Bullens (River Forest, Ill.) posted the strongest score in their doubles match, falling 6-2.
- Sam Smith (Munster, Ind.) and Andres Villagran (El Paso, Texas) picked up a point in their doubles match as well, but would fall short in achieving the overall point in the match.
SINGLES
- Five of six Cougars picked up points in at least one of their singles sets in Collin Dickey (Frisco, Texas), Reynaldo Leal (Weslaco, Texas), August Barnes (Sodus, Mich.), Villagran, and Smith. Despite each of these athletes posting a point, they would all fall short 6-0 and 6-1.
