LISLE, Ill. – The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's track and field team kicked off its home meet, the Cougar Invite. The Cougars headed to the campus of Benedictine University for the throwing events, where they shined with podium finishes and personal bests.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Madalyn Smock (Poplar Grove, Ill.) secured second place in the javelin with a throw of 25.49m and placed third in discus with a new season best of 31.29m.
COUGARS PERSONAL RECORDS
- Devynn Woywod (Berwyn, Ill.) hit a new personal best of 26.57m in the discus, finishing in fifth place.
