MEQUON, WIS.- The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's tennis team competed against long-time rivals Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) in conference play, ultimately falling 7-0 after a tough match against the Falcons.

DOUBLES
- The Falcons dominated the Cougars winning two out of three matches to take an early lead.
- Sam Smith (Munster, Ind.)Â and Andres Villagran (El Paso, Texas) got shut out the No. 1 match 6-0.
- Collin Dickey (Frisco, Texas) and August Barnes (Sodus, Mich.) battled hard and won the No. 2 match 6-4.
- Kevin Bullens (River Forest, Ill.)Â Kyle Pelzek (Hales Corners, Wis.)Â came close but fell 6-3 in the No. 3 match.

SINGLES
- CUW swept all six single matches against the Cougars.
- In the No.1 singles match, Dickey put points on the board but fell 6-3 in the first set before having to retire in second.
- Reynaldo Leal (Weslaco, Texas) was defeated at the No.2 singles 6-1, 6-0.
- Smith dropped the No.3 match in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.
- Villagran showed effort but was overpowered 6-2, 6-1.
- Barnes struggled to find rhythm, falling 6-2,6-0.
- After a competitive match, Bullens came up short with scores of 6-3, 6-3.
