Orlando, Fla. - The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's tennis team continued their spring break trip with a matchup against John Carroll University. The Cougars tried hard in their matches but unfortunately fell 7-0.
 
Doubles

• In the No. 2 doubles match, Collin Dickey (Frisco, Texas) and August Barnes (Sodus, Mich.) had put up the most prominent fight but ultimately fell 6-2.
• The duo at No. 3 doubles, made up of Diego Loveshe (Franklin Park, Ill.) and Sam Smith (Munster, Ind.), also put up a good fight, but fell 6-1.
• Andres Villagran (El Paso, Texas) and Kevin Bullens (River Forest, Ill.) did not come out on top as they also fell 6-0 in the No. 1 doubles match.

 
Singles

• John Carroll University went on to beat out the Cougars in all six singles matches.
• At No. 5 singles, Bullens had put in some good efforts, coming close in his first set at 6-4. He then fell 6-0 in his second set.
• Barnes held a consistent battle in his No. 6 singles match, closing out his first set at 6-2. He came in closer with his second set but dropped it, 6-3.
• Dickey, at No. 1 singles, fell in both of his sets at 6-1.
