DECATUR, ILL.- The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's track and field team competed at the Big Blue Outdoor Meet. The Cougars shined, scoring multiple podium finishes, including four gold performances.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Austin Knight (Forest Park, Ill.) secured first in the 200m, finishing with a final time of 22.21. He also took second in the 100m with a time of 10.96.
- Dayton Merli (Union Mills, Ind.)Â finished first with a height of 3.90m in the pole vault.
- Jayden Taylor (Southfield, Mich.) finished first in the long jump, leaping 6.40m.Â
- Korey Randle (East Moline, Ill.) leapt 13.49m, taking home first place in the triple jump.
- Vincent Scarnato (Pottstown, Pa), Kamren Hannah (El Paso, Texas), Henry Jones IV (Atlanta, Ga.), and Knight competed in the 4x100m relay and finished second with a time of 43.67.
- Darius Strother (Joliet, Ill.)Â leapt for 1.70m, placing second in the high jump.
- Jonah Winkelman (Plano, Ill.) took fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 12.20m.
- Hannah placed top five in the 100m, finishing with 11.12.
- Scarnato picked up sixth place in the 400m with a time of 51.75.

- Nathaniel Boksa picked up a new personal best in the 1500m with a time of 4:30.16.
- Â With a new personal best, Kam Jackson (Chicago, Ill.) finished 24th with a time of 4:36.96.
- Nathaniel Hernandez (Harwood Heights, Ill.)Â set new personal records in the 800m with a time of 2:04.08 and in the 200m with a time of 24.13.
- With a time of 2:48.33, Rodolfo Hill (Melrose Park, Ill.)Â set a personal best in the 800m.
- Donovan Depakakibo (Norridge, Ill.)Â set a new personal record in the 200m with a time of 24.39.
- Picking up a new personal best, Julien Saltos (Chicago, Ill.)Â placed 17th with a time of 17:08.56 in the 5000m.
