De Pere, Wis. - The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's volleyball team made their way to De Pere, Wis. to battle against the Green Knights of St. Norbert College. After an intense matchup, the Green Knights took the match, 3-2.

The Cougars built a three-point lead. Errors from the Cougars had put the Green Knights within one. The teams tied up briefly before an ace from Gudzovski and a kill from Marcin Hoffman (Inverness, Ill.) broke that up. Attacks from Ford had put the Cougars in a five-point advantage. A kill from Caminar helped the Cougars break 20. The Green Knights didn't fold as they fought back and came within one of the Cougars. A kill from Ford had gotten the Cougars to set point first. The Cougars took the first set with a score of 25-22, going into the second set, 1-0.
Set Two
The Green Knights took the first point of the set with a kill. The teams exchanged points; the Green Knights took the lead, building on their lead of three points. The Cougars fought back and came within one of the Green Knights. The Green Knights maintained their lead, even after aggressive kills from Gudzovski and Elijah Mosher (Clayton, Ohio). The Cougars continued to trail after the Green Knights' ever-growing advantage. A fierce attack helped the Green Knights surpass 20, but kills from Armstrong and Caminar broke up their short run. The Cougars were at a four-point disadvantage as the Green Knights had gotten to set point. The Green Knights took the second set with a score of 25-21, the teams going into the third set tied, 1-1.
Set Three
An error from the Green Knights gave the Cougars the first point of the set. The teams tied up early on, notably with an impressive block from Gudzovski and Hoffman. The Cougars took the lead with kills from Armstrong and Hoffman. Kills from Caminar had pushed the Cougar lead up by three. Kills from Mosher, Ford and Hoffman, along with errors from the Green Knights, kept the Cougars up. The teams traded kills, trying to take the lead from one another. An attack from Gudzovski and an error helped the Cougars get past 20. Continuous errors from the Green Knights had put the Cougars closer to set point as they continued to trail. The Cougars took the third set with a score of 25-21, the Cougars going into the fourth set in the lead, 2-1.
Set Four
Off of an error and a kill from Gudzovski, the Cougars collected the first points of the set. The Green Knights took on the lead as they collected kills and errors from the Cougars. The Cougars were in a four-point deficit. Kills from Ford and Gudzovski had put the Cougars within one of the Green Knights. The Green Knights had applied more pressure and pushed the Cougars down by five. Attacks from the Green Knights pushed them to 20. The Cougars pushed forward and finally got themselves within three of their opponents, an ace from Armstrong and a kill from Hoffman contributing. The Green Knights approached the set point. The Green Knights took the fourth set with a score of 25-21, both teams tied going into the final set, 2-2.
Set Five
The Cougars took the first point of the set with a kill from Gudzovski. The Cougars quickly took the lead with errors from the Green Knights. The Green Knight had put themselves on the board with kills of their own. The teams went kill-for-kill, trying to take the lead. The Green Knights took the lead with three points. Their lead triggered the court flip, continuing the match. The Green Knights continued to build their lead to six points. The Cougars went into a seven-point deficit, letting the Green Knights get to match point. The Green Knights took the fifth and final set with a score of 15-7, taking the match 3-2.
